Welcome Back...1 year later.

It has recently been brought to my attention that it had been a year since I last updated the pictures. Well, a year and a day to be exact. What can I say, these girls keep me busy! So here are just a few pictures of this past spring. I promise to post more later!

The girls won 3rd place at the Meijer Gardens Children's Stroller parade. Their picture was supposed to be in the Grand Rapids Press, but it wasn't :(

Rich did a triathlon for Johan's Trifest at Sandy Pines Resort in Hopkins, Michigan. This was very early in the morning.
Rich had his number (age) on the back of his leg, so the girls wanted one too.

Emerson's soccer team.
A nice evening stroll through downtown Rockford.

Emerson played co-ed soccer this past spring. There were 6 girls and 2 boys on their team. She was a little nervous at first, but once she got out on the field, she enjoyed every minute of it. She's #3.

Camryn smelling the flowers in downtown Rockford.

Emerson receiving her diploma from preschool. She's go to young 5's starting in September. She'll go all day on Monday, Wednesday and every other Friday.

Emerson getting her haircut for the first time in a salon. Mommy has cut her hair previously. This was a special day because she graduated from preschool.

Another pose.

Go State!

Apparently I don't feed my kids and they need to literally rip open boxes of cereal without my knowledge so they can eat.

Lotsa pictures! Enjoy!

First, here are a few pictures from celebrating 4th of July at Meijer Gardens.
Emerson & Mommy decorated her baby stroller to march in the Children's Parade.
The sun was too bright for Camryn's eyes :)
This is Camryn loving her Raspberry Pie.

This is a picture of the Raspberry Pie all mushed in Camryn's hair...or what she has of hair!
More Camryn and her food....this is her after eating pasta of some sort. She was taking Cherrios and sticking them to the side of her face with pasta sauce. Yes, she thinks she's pretty cute!
More food in the hair. Bath night is pretty much every night around here.

Camryn has discovered the pantry. The other side of the pantry has a lock on it because that's where all the snacks are at. Emerson used to sneak in there and get herself snacks and go hide in her room and eat them while I was in the shower. Sneaky little devil!!!!

Camryn discovered a new food tonight....corn on the cob. She just keep chewing on the cob even though there wasn't anymore corn left.

This is at Meijer Garden's celebrating Mommy's birthday. I think Daddy was being silly, that's why Camryn is laughing.

Camryn's 1 year pictures

Well, Camryn's one-year pictures did NOT turn out this year. She just wasn't in the mood what-so-ever. They even took us back into the studio to try and take some more later, but none of those turned out either. I did some with both girls, but trying to get them both to look at the camera at the same time wasn't working so well. We'll try again in a few months.
This is one of Camryn's first pictures of the day. As I said, none of them turned out, and believe it or not, this was one of the better ones! I thought I'd get a sheet of these just for giggles....I'll make a scrapbook page with this, I'm sure. Here is another one....shows her beautiful eye...looking so sweet...I wonder how long that will last????

Finally Some More Pictures!

Well, with two kids, it is definitely more difficult to take pictuers, especially since one of us is always holding onto Camryn since she isn't walking yet.
Here are some pictures from Emerson's ballet class that she took at the local YMCA. She was one of the youngest with the class being for 3-5 year olds. She is the one to the left of the teacher.

This is us at my cousin, Sarah's wedding. Emerson was one of the flower girls.

Here are the girls sitting on Papa's lap playing Peek-A-Boo on Sesamestreet.com. Camryn just cracks up laughing.

Camryn was so cute in this outfit. I had music on and she was sitting on her knees bouncing up and down. But of course when I went to get the camera, she crawled right over to me to see what I was doing.

Happy Father's Day, Dad! Daddy in the backyard with his two favorite girls....or should I say two of his three favorite girls :)

The girls sitting on the Dora couch, watching TV.

Here is Camryn combing her non-existent hair. How cute is that??

More Pictures

Finally, the sun was shining! We bundled up and took the girls outside. Here is Emerson on her bike....enjoying every cold minute of it!

Here is Camryn all bundled up. I'm not sure if she enjoyed this little adventure or not!

Camryn loves this book she got from her GGP (Great-Grampa). It's a hard coated cardboard book that she can't really chew on. She can look at this for a good 15-20 minutes.
Here is Camryn reading again. Yes, the book is upside down, but she doesn't know the difference!!

Do Speghetti-O's get any better than this???

One afternoon, I went to change Camryn's diaper and put her down for her nap. I came out less than 4 minutes later.......and this is what my kitchen looked like! You'd think it had just been ransacked by a burgular.......but no! It was Emerson! And she was nowhere to be found. She was quietly playing in her room as if nothing happened :)

Daddy's proud little girl. Brainwashing at it's best! Go Spartans!

The girls and I were getting ready to go out one morning, and I went to pick up Camryn to bring her out to the van, and Emerson had her stock-piled with all the necessities....the paci and the babies. (I'm not sure if there is a baby in our house that has its clothes on them.)

One tired Daddy and Emerson. How cute is this????

Our other little Spartan Cutie!!
